Newfoundland and Labrador is in the Atlantic region and is the easternmost province of Canada. It combines mainland Labrador to the Island of Newfoundland and is seen as the most homogenous province in the country. This is especially when it comes to language because the majority of the population speaks in English. The province is also popular due to the notable oil production, mining, and manufacturing industries.
