This is a perfect example of off-road vehicles created out of sheer necessity. It was presented right before World War 2 as a small, light military car, which could navigate any terrain. It was also reputed as highly durable and dependable to withstand extreme conditions such as bullets and explosions. It had a small 2.2 four-liter engine producing only 60 HP. Jeep has evolved as an unapparelled producer of off-road vehicles, SUVs, and a great segment pioneer.
