Pontiac GTO
Pontiac GTO was launched in 1964 as an option on the Tempest Model. It was and is still considered the first most decent muscle car amongst many great early machines. This is due to their brilliantly crafted marketing strategies, which oversaw their sale in large numbers. They also featured all the right ingredients during construction, which were later made mandatory on all such American cars. However, the Pontiac GTO did not show much revolution in terms of technology and design. It only offered a great combination of power and a gorgeous body, which mostly allured the performance-loving young buyers. The GTO was the best ranked of the 1964 models, with all manufacturers following the Pontiacs model’s suit. On this ground, it is still one of the most dominant and revolutionary car models of all time.
